‘Moon Knight’ may have been ruled out of the Golden Globes, but fans still can’t stop talking about it

moon knight landed on Disney Plus in March with a bang and has made a name for itself in the hearts of avid Marvel fans. The six-episode series was thoroughly acclaimed for Oscar Isaac’s impeccable acting, quality cast and gripping plot, but it still wasn’t enough to garner a Golden Globes nomination.

The standalone series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe became a new astronomical pinnacle, following in the footsteps of WandaVision and Loki with this psychological thriller that stays true to Egyptian mythology. The goosebumps action in moon knight followed the comics closely, and fans can’t seem to have had enough of mild-mannered museum worker Steven.

Despite all the praise for the chameleon actor, who perfectly mastered the complex clerk, the Golden Globes didn’t submit her Disney Plus series nomination. But it wasn’t enough to stop fans from cheering on the white spandex hero.

The real star of the show, most fans seem to agree, was Isaac’s standout performance. One of Marvel’s unique heroes, Moon Knight’s backstory traces back to a very troubled Steven who suffered from frequent hallucinations and was unable to distinguish between his dreams and reality. Isaac completely blew it away with his acting, skillfully and effortlessly switching between opposite personalities.

Despite his glowing praise and passionate fans, moon knight still received a lot of criticism from Marvel Comics’ eagle-eyed fans, who seemed dissatisfied with the character’s live-action portrayal and adaptation of the events from the comics, claiming it was the “biggest wasted potential this year.” .

Regardless of where anyone stands in this two-sided argument, the Golden Globes still deemed the superhero standalone series ineligible for nomination, but that hasn’t detracted from the show’s consistently positive fan reviews. While patiently speculating about a second season, many fans are still applauding the show that stars such a popular character.
