MP George Santos has angered Twitter users with a parasite warning

Republican Rep. George Santos’ PSA on ticks was mockingly mirrored back at the New York congressman on Twitter.

On Monday, series fabulist Santos warned voters that “tick season is here,” referencing a Newsday article about the blood-sucking parasite.

But tweeters still cheered the post, as Santos last week pleaded not guilty to 13 federal charges, including allegations that he pocketed campaign funds and receiving unemployment benefits he wasn’t entitled to and his agreement with prosecutors in Brazil, which got him off charges of forging stolen checks in 2008.
