It wasn’t long before her post was inundated with advice and comments from fellow cleaning enthusiasts.
Many said that “bleach” was the way to go.
“I use bleach,” said one. Let the brush soak in the pan overnight. It’s incredibly easy.”
“I pour bleach down the toilet, then get the toilet brush and scrub the toilet with the bleach water,” explained one person. It makes brushing and cleaning the toilet so easy.”
“You should always use bleach for the job,” wrote another advocate, emphasizing the importance of cleaning your toilet brush. Put bleach in the toilet and let the brush soak.”
“Yes, I bleach the toilet and then let the brush soak in the bleach for a while too,” agreed another.

Another woman said she uses a mop bucket.
“I use a mop bucket, fill it with bleach and put everything in the container, including the brush,” she adds. This ensures that no odor-causing germs are left behind.”

Others suggested cleaning the toilet brush with Zoflor because it “smells lovely”.
