Multiple vehicles involved in an accident on I-35 in Central Austin
All southbound lanes were closed after the accident.
AUSTIN, Texas — Two people are injured in a crash involving up to eight vehicles Sunday night on southbound Interstate 35.
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. in the 3400 block of the lower deck and reportedly affected “seven to eight” vehicles Austin-Travis County EMS. ATCEMS said three ambulances responded.
Two adults were taken to local hospitals, both with non-life-threatening injuries.
All southbound lanes were closed from about 7 p.m.
Motorists are asked to expect delays and to avoid the area if possible.
