‘NCIS: Hawaii’ 2×11 Sneak Peek: Kate Shares Update on ‘Proud’ Lucy

Has NCIS: Hawaii‘s Special Agent Lucy Tara went down or swam in her role as Agent Afloat? Jesse gets a fun update about his colleague in TVLine’s exclusive preview of tonight’s episode.

Back in November, Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant (played by Vanessa Lachey) informed Lucy (Yasmine Al-Bustami) that she had been accepted for the Special Agent Afloat position (stationed aboard an aircraft carrier), which she was applying for after her She and Kate (Tori Anderson) were separated.

Since then, we’ve heard little about how Lucy is doing (although she resurfaced on land during the NCIS: Los Angeles Part of the January 9 crossover event. Unfortunately, neither Kate nor Jesse (Noah Mills) saw Lucy in this part of the crossover, so in the clip above, while following a POI, Kate updates Jesse on the latest accomplishments of the sea-weary Lucy.

Exactly when Lucy will return to Hawaii with her team (and friend Kate!) was unknown to CBS, although series frontwoman Lachey assured TVLine in mid-December, “She’s still here and she’s still here there, but we try to honor it [acting commitments Yasmine] back on the mainland and maximizing the time when she’s here. She’s here right now and we’ve just had two massive days of water that got us all soaking wet.”

In today’s episode of NCIS: Hawaii, titled Rising Sun, when Special Agent Pike (played by Mark Gessner) is ambushed while working undercover with a Japanese crime family, the team must find the person responsible for orchestrating the attacks. Also, Kai deepens his investigation into an old friend-turned-criminal.
