NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14: Hetty Rescue Plan Revealed

Could the wedding bells for Callen and Anna ring in the (latest) long-awaited return of NCIS: Los Angeles“Hetti?

Original cast actress Linda Hunt’s enigmatic character last appeared on camera in May 2021, at the end of season 12, when Hetty suitably ended her previously Disappearing storyline to wish Nell and Eric well in their post-NCIS life.

As a result, there was a plan to bring Hunt back for Season 13, ideally on a larger scale, but you know what they say — “Man plans, and God and COVID laugh.” As a result, Hunt only appeared in the premiere last one October, where Hetty announced to Kilbride that she had to return to Syria (where she spent much of Season 12 and apparently left a mess behind).

As a result, Callen had to browse alone for the latestlatest Truth about his childhood – namely, whether he was just one of them many Young people “recruited” and supervised by Ms. Lange. But season 13 ended on a much happier note, with Callen proposing to Anna Kolchek on the beach before a sunset and happily accepting his longtime girlfriend.

As part of TVLine’s in-deep NCIS: Los Angeles Fall Preview, showrunner R. Scott Gemmill said that shortly after Season 14 begins (on Sunday, October 9), Callen (played by Chris O’Donnell) will be contemplating his and Anna’s (Bar Paly) upcoming wedding when ” he realizes he has work to do and wouldn’t want to get married without Hetty’s presence.” Callen’s desire to have his adoptive mother by his side for his big day will – hopefully – eventually be a return for Hetty and 77-year-old Hunt bring about.

“The plan,” says Gemmill, “is to rescue her eventually and find out what she got herself into.

“We’re just trying to figure out when we can pull this off,” he added. “That was the plan last year, but it did not come to fruition. We had a little one [COVID variant] up, but things seem to be calming down a bit. Hopefully nothing new comes up and we can do it this year.”
