According to FlixPatrol, the interconnected saga of four women and their respective destinies shot straight into the top 10 in 32 countries around the world, more than enough to top the global charts.

The narrative intersects the stories of four women who couldn’t be more different but are all bound together by fate and circumstance as German troops begin to advance through their homeland. Parisian prostitute Marguerite, family-run factory owner Caroline, feminist nurse Suzanne, and Mother Superior Agnes from a requisitioned federation are the entry points women at warwhich served to underscore the Netflix customer base’s love for a war epic.

It remains to be seen if the historical drama can continue to climb into the global top 10 over the course of the weekend, especially when genres as diverse as fantasy, horror, comedy and reality TV provide stiff competition on all fronts, but it would be foolish not to still bet against it.
