New Lilibet picture as Harry and Meghan celebrate their daughter’s first birthday

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released the first portrait of their daughter Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor after celebrating her birthday during the Platinum Jubilee.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hosted a meeting for their one-year-old daughter at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, their British homeland.

Photographer Misan Harriman, who is also friends with the couple, posted photos of Lilibet on social media.

He wrote on Twitter: “It was such a privilege to celebrate Lilibet’s 1st birthday with my family and hers! Everywhere joy and face painting.”

Zara and Mike Tindall were among the guests at the party, bringing their children Mia, Lena and Lucas with them. Fashion reported.

Harriman, who describes himself as “one of the most outspoken photographers in the Black Lives Matter movement,” snapped the pictures of Meghan pregnant, which were used to announce the couple is expecting a daughter.

He tweeted at the time: “Meg I attended your wedding to witness the beginning of this love story and my friend I am honored to be able to watch you grow. Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this happy news!”

The party came after Harry and Meghan traveled to the UK for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

The couple were cheered as they arrived at St Paul’s Cathedral in London for a Thanksgiving service for the Queen’s Reign.

They also made a brief appearance at Trooping the Color, the Queen’s birthday parade, which they watched from the Major General’s office.

However, it was a quiet visit for the couple and their children did not appear publicly during the celebrations.

Prince Louis, Lili’s cousin, captured hearts during the four-day royal extravaganza when he made funny faces during Trooping and was seen putting a hand over his mother’s mouth during the anniversary competition on June 5.

Lilibet pays homage to the monarch’s nickname, which dates back to the 96-year-old’s own childhood.

Elizabeth was known for mispronouncing her own name and it stuck for many years, although the nickname is not used publicly.

Lili was born on June 4, 2021 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces.

Meghan and Harry said in a statement at the time: “On June 4th we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter Lili.

“She is more than we could ever have imagined and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we have felt from around the world.

“Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
