New to Netflix April 2023

Aren’t we all ready for a few warmer days of fun in the sun? Netflix has a few tricks up their sleeves this April when spring comes into the picture.

Possibly Florida man will remind us of dreamy beach days on the shore. There are also A guide to lovewhich can be inspirational for summer vacations – or actually keep you from traveling fully.

First, however, Netflix will start the month with beef, an A24 series due for release on April 6th. Ali Wong and Steven Yeun star in the dark comedy about two strangers who become involved in a feud after a major traffic incident. If you liked it David or Silicon Valley, beef might be up your alley – it was created by Lee Sung Jin, a writer of these two series.

Then comes Florida man on April 13th. Good luck with the google search for what this is all about! If you Google “Florida man” you’ll find 80 headlines in the state about men doing crazy (usually illegal) things. And that’s what the show is about. A Florida man embarks on a wild chase after his missing girlfriend and gets caught up in all sorts of headline-worthy “Florida Man…” fun.

April 27 is coming A guide to love. While that might sound like yet another fun-loving romantic comedy from Netflix – and it might – the premise sounds a little less lighthearted. A tour guide faces a breakup and travels to Vietnam to covertly cover the tourism industry with the help of a Vietnamese expat tour guide. The tourism industry can’t be that happy and romantic, can it?
