NFC Championship: Eagles fans fill the streets of Philadelphia after advancing to Super Bowl LVII

PHILADELPHIA– Fans filled the streets of Philadelphia on Sunday night after Eagle‘Big win over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC championship.

“I’ve never been happier in my entire life,” said one fan.

Fans began packing parts of the city soon after learning they were returning to the super bowl

Since the Eagles’ victory in 2018, the families have stuck to the tradition.

“In 2018 he was a baby and I was dating on the same block and on the same street,” explained Andres Arias.

The crowd grew loud at times as the party continued into the night.

At least one person was arrested for vandalizing a police car and the roof of a bus stop was smashed.

Jalen Hurts had one of Philadelphia’s four rushing touchdowns and the Eagles advanced to the Super Bowl, forcing both San Francisco quarterbacks out of the game with injuries and beating the injured 49ers 31-7 on Sunday.

“Obviously it’s something you dreamed about as a kid. All these guys on the team have dreamed about it their whole lives too,” said coach Nick Sirianni. “Just being able to do this with a bunch of guys who love each other, who are connected and will do anything for each other is pretty sweet.”

The Eagles meet former coach Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs on February 12 at State Farm Stadium.
