Nineties pop legends look unrecognizable 27 years after their big hit, their husband’s health problems and their new career

27 years after their huge success, members of a major ’90s band looked unrecognizable in new social media snaps.
The two singers stormed the British charts in 1996 and then released four studio albums.
And sisters Shelly and Karen Poole looked a world away from their Alisha’s days in the attic in the new photos.
While pop fans may remember Shelly, 51, and Karen, 52, sporting rock star haircuts with bold colors, the siblings seem to prefer the understated look these days.
In photos shared on social media, Shelly can be seen posing with her blonde hair styled in two pigtails.
Karen has now opted for blonde hair with a slight pink tint.
As Alisha’s Attic, they stormed the charts for the first time with their hit single I Am, I Feel.
This was followed by the singles Alisha Rules The World and Indestructible.
In 2001, Shelly married Ally McErlaine of the band Texas.
The pair are now in a band together called Red Sky July and they previously revealed that their inspiration to perform together came after Ally suffered a near-fatal brain haemorrhage.
Sisters Shelly and Karen are also talented songwriters and have written tracks for established artists.
Shelly has written for artists such as Westlife, Boyzone and Mark Ronson.
Karen has now written songs for artists such as Kylie Minogue, the Sugababes, Lily Allen and Becky Hill.
