Nintendo Switch Online is getting two Obscure NES games and a Castlevania Game Boy game for Halloween

The Nintendo Switch Online game library is expanding this week with the addition of two obscure NES games and a Castlevania Game Boy game for Halloween.
First up is 1984’s Devil World, one of the early NES games by Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka and Koji Kondo, now available in the US for the first time. In this puzzle adventure, the player navigates mazes and evades the machinations of the devil (the demon from Devil World is an assist trophy in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate). In Devil World, wherever the devil is pointing, the maze rolls in that direction, potentially restricting freedom of movement and blocking escape routes.

The second NES game is The Mysterious Murasame Castle from 1986. In this game set in feudal Japan, a mysterious evil force takes control of Murasame Castle. You join a young samurai apprentice named Takamaru and use his sword and shuriken attacks against swarms of enemies.

Finally, in the 1998 Game Boy game Castlevania Legends, the player takes up arms as Sonia Belmont in a story set before the original Castlevania game.

To access the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online, SEGA Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online and Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online game libraries, as well as access to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course, a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is required -Membership Required Pass, Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise and Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion DLC at no additional cost.
