The latest update out Old school RuneScape is all about group Ironman, starting with a new unranked version of the mode that promises a more relaxed version of the activity for friends. The newsletter points out some rules pertaining to those moving from a regular Ironman group to an unranked group, most notably the fact that ranked players who join an unranked group will themselves irrevocably lose their ranks, meaning those People who are deep in group mode will want to take note.

In other Group Ironman news, parties can enter a Group Boss Rush raffle event that launched yesterday, where groups are challenged to take on certain boss fights for tickets for a chance to be one of 10 groups selected to win a free year to get subscription. The more tickets collected, the higher the chances of being deducted from the raffle that will take place in two weeks.

The remainder of the update post discusses various feedback points and adjustments to Group Ironman and Guardians of the Rift activity, as Jagex continues to try to pump up the hype for its upcoming tabletop board game, Kickstarter, with a new trailer.
