Panda Express is launching a new entree nationwide

(KTLA) – Panda Express is launching a new limited-time main dish: Chili Crisp Shrimp in restaurants across the country.
The new fish dish will be available from Wednesday and will remain on the menus until the end of the year.
The Rosemead, Calif.-based Chinese fast-food chain describes the dish as consisting of “lightly breaded, juicy shrimp mixed with flavorful peppers and onions, tossed in a hearty chilli-garlic sauce.”
Each bite promises a touch of spiciness and a satisfying crunch, the restaurant chain says.

The dish was prepared by the chefs at Panda Express, taking inspiration from the “bold flavors” of Sichuan cuisine. The restaurant chain is presenting the dish for the first time after “extensive tests” and extensive guest feedback.
“We knew we wanted to offer a bold new shrimp menu item that blends the traditional flavors of Sichuan cuisine with the fresh, premium ingredients Panda guests know and love,” said Jimmy Wang, Panda’s executive director of culinary innovation Express. “We’re excited to bring this hearty, crispy dish to diners nationwide for a limited time and continue to offer innovative ways to enjoy shrimp.”
According to Panda Express, a single serving is 4 ounces, totaling 210 calories and 13 grams of protein.
The fast-food chain recommends pairing it with a side of chow mein, fried rice, or steamed vegetables.
