Pedestrian killed in hit and run on Airport Boulevard

AUSTIN, Texas — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a driver who didn’t stop to help Austin Police Department said Tuesday.

On Saturday, September 17, just before 10 p.m., APD officers responded to a collision between a vehicle and a male pedestrian on Block 1100 of Airport Boulevard. Police said preliminary investigations indicated the man was crossing the road when he was hit by a vehicle, which then drove away without stopping.

The pedestrian died at the scene.
