Pedro Pascal becomes the “Daddies of Daddies” after “The Last of Us”
Move Oscar Isaac aside because Pedro Pascal just put a foot up in the very heated debate about which of them is the “daddyiest daddy”. Now, thanks to a few rough and shirtless moments on the first episode of HBO The last of usall eyes are on Pascal again.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight last night, the actor was asked if he was aware he was the “daddy of the internet,” to which he replied, “I am your cool, slutty daddy,” and his honorific nickname with a mischievous one smile strengthened.
Pascal already waved the white flag in April last year and was happy to hand over the title to the moon knight Star, whom fans eagerly dubbed as dad. With his famous last words “Alright fine, he can have it” he elegantly said goodbye to the competition.
It was only a matter of time, however, because as the highly-anticipated video game adaptation caused a stir with its first installment, social media happily bestowed the crown on him again.
As survivor Joel charged with escorting a young girl into a post-apocalyptic world, Pascal brings with him the intensity and courage that fans have long attributed to the beloved character.
Isaac might have been the number one dad for the past few months, but it looks like Pascal is back and with more episodes of The last of us is broadcast weekly, it will retain the title for a while.
