PETA posts cartoon of turkeys preparing to eat humans

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals posted a tweet the day before Thanksgiving showing a family of turkeys, or more specifically human bodies with turkey heads, preparing to eat a human for dinner.

“POV: The dining tables have been turned and a family gathers around your body to tell you why they are grateful,” PETA tweeted.

Jerry Dunleavy of the Washington Examiner mockingly responded to the post: tweet“The turkeys must be destroyed before they rebel against us.”

“For an organization that has been so amazingly terrible at its core mission that it has produced more meat eaters than activists, one has to admire its dogged determination to change absolutely nothing, its fierce and arrogant smug self-righteousness, year after year,” tweeted Chad Felix Greene.

PETA also posted a cartoon This showed a distraught turkey while a mad-looking woman pours gravy on the bird, and a man with a similarly insane look licks his lips while saying, “I can’t wait to slurp those juices!” – another character says, “Mmm, she’s so juicy!”

“And some people still think Tofurky is weird,” PETA commented when sharing the cartoon.

Earlier this year, PETA scolded Elon Musk after he tweeted about enjoying some chocolate milk.

“Chocolate milk is insanely good. Just had some,” Musk tweeted.

“Drinking cow’s milk is like driving a gas guzzler. The dairy industry is one of the worst contributors to the climate catastrophe. What has become of concern for the environment? Now we can stand behind chocolate oat milk,” PETA answered.

PETA website says the organization “opposes speciesism, a racist worldview, and focuses its attention on the four areas where most animals suffer most intensely and for the longest: in laboratories, in the food industry, in the clothing trade and in the entertainment business. “
