PlayStation Pulse Explore Wireless Earbuds and Pulse Elite Wireless Headset receive release dates

Sony has announced that PlayStation’s Pulse Explore wireless earbuds will launch on December 6, 2023, and that the Pulse Elite wireless headset will follow on February 21, 2024.

Sony announced the news on PlayStation.Blog and also announced that pre-orders will begin on November 9th at 10am local time via direct.PlayStation.com and other retailers in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg would. Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Pre-orders will also be available in other global markets on this day at select retailers.

The Pulse Explore wireless earbuds are priced at $199.99 and are said to offer a “portable, premium audio experience.” They come complete with dual microphones, AI-powered noise cancellation, and a charging case.

The Pulse Elite wireless headset costs $149.99 and includes lossless audio, AI-powered noise cancellation, a retractable boom microphone, a charging cradle, and more.

In addition to the earbuds and headset, there will be the standalone PlayStation Link USB adapter, which goes on sale on December 6th. It is important to note that the adapter is included with the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore.

For those unfamiliar, PlayStation Link is PlayStation’s new wireless audio technology that allows Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore to connect to a PS5, PlayStation Portal, PC, Mac and mobile phones.

PlayStation Link also allows Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore to connect to both a PlayStation Link supported device (PS5, PC, Mac or PlayStation Portal) and another Bluetooth supported device such as your phone or iPad.
