Please do not shoot yourself in the head with the Persona 3 Portable Physical Edition replica weapon

Persona 3 portable is getting a physical edition from Limited Run Games, and there’s even a Collector’s Edition that comes with the game’s signature Evoker.

Earlier this year, Persona 3 Portable hit PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox digital stores, making the game available on modern platforms for the first time in a long time. But now you have the chance to play the game physically, as Limited Run Games announced yesterday that it will be producing a (as you can imagine) limited edition of the game. It’ll still be available on PS4, Switch and Xbox, but there are a few fancy editions too, and yes, the fanciest version includes a full-scale replica of the game’s legendary Evoker, a weapon in the truest sense of the word.

The slightly fancier version, the Grimoire Edition, comes with a nifty Grimoir book box and protective sleeve, a physical copy of the game, and a steelbook, so honestly nothing special that’ll set you back $70. However, if you want your own Evoker, you should get the SEES edition, which includes all of the above, plus a SEES bracelet, certificate of authenticity, character trading cards, the game’s soundtrack, a school patch, etc. an “all-in-one” Out Attack 3D Shadowbox” and of course a 1:1 Evoker replica shadowbox that lights up. However, unsurprisingly, this will set you back $200, so you might want to save up. Pre-orders go live on September 29th and run until November 12th.

Limited Run Games also announced that it is working on a physical edition of Persona 4 Golden, which was previously only available physically on the PS Vita, making the digital version the only way to play it at the moment. Persona 4 Golden However, it will not be available to order until October 27th. So if you’re more interested in it, you might want to hold off on ordering Persona 3 Portable.

Of course, you can always wait until next year’s remake of Persona 3, Reload, which is currently doing quite well.
