Police are asking the public for help after six newborn puppies were left in a roadside crate in Holliston last week.

The newborn puppies, estimated to be less than a week old, were found next to Cedar Street between 8 and 9 p.m. Friday night, according to police.

“Any tips to help locate the person(s) responsible for abandoning these puppies would be greatly appreciated,” Holliston Police Department said. “Tips can be kept confidential.”

“Zero tolerance for it”, state police calledcalls on the public to cooperate in the investigation.
