Pro-Trump pastor says ‘you haven’t seen the uprising’ ahead of DC visit

Ahead of an anti-abortion rally Monday in Washington DC’s Supreme Court, right-wing pastor Greg Locke told his Tennessee congregation, “You haven’t seen a riot,” recalling the Jan. 6 riots at the US Capitol. 2021
The pastor of Global Vision Bible Church made the provocative statement during a sermon in Mt. Juliet near Nashville on Sunday. During the sermon, the pro-Trump pastor railed against Democrats who he said could not be Christians for supporting abortion rights.
Locke will attend the Rally for Life on the steps of the Supreme Court on Tuesday, amid controversy over the possibility of the landmark Roe v. calf The verdict could be overturned in the near future. Should this happen, several states would end access to abortion in most cases. He is joined by Sean Feucht, who has previously led anti-Disney rallies with his Christian activist group Hold the Line.

The pastor said in a video shared on his church’s website, “If you vote Democrat, I don’t even want you in this church. you can go out You can get out, demon. You can get out, you baby slaughtering election thief… You can’t be a Christian and vote Democrats in this nation. I don’t care how angry this makes you. You can get as angry as you want. You can’t be a Christian and vote Democrats in this nation. They are god-denying demons who slaughter babies and hate this nation.”
During the Sunday sermon, Locke told the congregation that he was “tired” to hear about the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riots, before adding, “Let me tell you something. They haven’t seen a riot yet.”
“You keep pushing our buttons, you low spirits, sorry compromises,” Locke continued. “You godly communists, you’re going to find out what a riot is because we don’t play with your trash. We don’t play with your dirt, hell won’t overpower it. And the Bible says they will take it by force.”

Locke was referring to last year’s US Capitol riots, in which hundreds of supporters of then-President Donald Trump stormed the building to prevent confirmation of Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory. The pastor has continually peddled the unsubstantiated claim that Trump’s election was stolen, including during Sunday’s sermon.
Locke has sparked controversy with his red-hot comments, including threatening to expose members of his church as “witches.” In the February 13 sermon, Locke told the crowd that he had the names of six witches and that three were in the audience.
And in January, Locke organized a burning of Harry Potter and dusk Books and other items in the church.
