Protesters walk the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles after the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade fell

LOS ANGELES (KABC) – Protesters have taken to the north side of the 110 Freeway at Fifth Street in downtown Los Angeles to protest the Supreme Court’s decision to reverse the Roe v. pick up calf.

AIR7 HD captured protesters marching through the streets of Los Angeles near downtown on Friday afternoon.

Protesters were seen on the street next to City Hall steps, Hollywood and throughout downtown LA

Other protesters took to the freeway and obstructed traffic.

Similar protests began Friday in New York City, Chicago, Seattle, Philadelphia and other cities.

There were no reports of violence, but the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement that they are “working closely with federal, state and local partners to access potential threats related to this group and other groups, these evaluate and identify trying to harm the public.”

“At this time we have not identified any specific or credible threat to any particular organization here in Los Angeles.”

This is an evolving story. More information will be added as details become available.
