Raleigh Christmas Parade Accident News: 2022 event canceled after runaway truck injures teenage girl in NC

RALEIGH, NC– At least one person was injured at North Carolina’s Raleigh Christmas Parade when a truck went out of control and hit someone.

Several witnesses testified about the white truck with the CC & Co. Dance Float lost control.

People said they heard the driver screaming out the truck’s window that he had lost control and couldn’t stop the vehicle.

Police are still closely investigating what happened, but it appears the runaway truck hit a teenage girl and seriously injured her.

The Raleigh Christmas Parade was officially canceled because of the incident.
