Ramona Singer backs out on Kristen Taekman: “She’s really grown as a personality”

Ramona Singer must have a really bad memory. At first she forgot who Kristen Taekman was. Now she forgets that she cast shadows on her. In fact, she put in quite a bit of effort in a recent interview on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. Maybe she’s making sure she doesn’t approach RHONY: Legacy with any hostility. Something tells me this will still be a storyline when the New York women get back together in season five Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Outing. There’s no way it won’t be mentioned.

Ramona suddenly thinks Kristen is a good choice for RHONY: Legacy

Host Jeff Lewis invited Ramona to his show and he wanted to talk about the upcoming vacation. Speaking about the cast, he said the producers “kind of went left a little bit … and they cast Kristen.” Since viewers were probably expecting Ramona to attack her co-star again, she said actually that she “saw her at Upfronts and she really evolved as a personality.” Ramona continued, “She seems really strong and personable and I think she’ll be a great addition.” I really do.”

Ramona then goes on to say her words are “skewed” because she “put it wrong” when daughter Avery Singer said she forgot who Kristen was. She added that she called Kristen for clarification and asked her to meet up for “coffee or a bite.” Kristen told her she was in LA, to which Ramona said, “Fine if you’re coming back from LA.” Kristen then reminded Ramona that she had been living in LA since 2020. Another case of memory loss for the Stinger!

Thanks to their live shows, Ramona Luann de Lesseps and Dorinda Medley are now “very close” and looking forward to the Ultimate Girls Trip. “I’m really happy that everyone is here,” she said. “I’m really. I think it’s going to be really great. I think it’s going to be really good TV. I think the fans are going to be very excited.” Well, she certainly got that part right.

The Real Housewives of New York reboot begins July 16 at 9/8c on Bravo. “Ultimate Girls Trip” will return for a fourth season at a later date, starring Caroline Manzo and Brandi Glanville. There’s no word yet on a premiere date for RHONY: Legacy.
