Rare ‘Autopia’ driver’s license signed by Walt Disney and from 1955 Disneyland is sold at auction

An “Autopia” driver’s license signed by Walt Disney himself has just been auctioned off.
The license dates back to 1955, the year Disneyland opened.
The license features Disney’s signature on the back and is considered rare. It is actually a license for “Richfield Autopia”, the original name of the classic.
Autopia is the only attraction at Disneyland’s Tomorrowland that is an original of the 1955 grand opening. When it opened, the ride captured the imagination of America’s newest road: the freeway.
The ride still inspires young fans today, who hope to go full throttle.
The license was sold for $12,500.
