“Rat in the Kitchen” canceled on TBS – no season 2

TBS gets rid of the bugs in its cooking chamber.

The cable network has canceled rat in the kitchen, a twist on a traditional cook-off show hosted by French chef Ludo Lefebvre and comedian Natasha Leggero, our sister site Deadline reports after one season. The series premiered in March 2022.

According to Kathleen Finch, group chairman and CCO of Warner Bros. Discovery US Networks, the termination after adding Food Network and Cooking Channel to the company’s portfolio was necessary because “it doesn’t really make sense to thin the peanut butter from a to delete content perspective.”
