It was a bit like walking on stage, the lights hitting you and then you were home. … That’s how I felt, everything was perfect and she pulled out her phone.”

After getting Windey’s number, Hoffman texted her before explaining that she needed to “go home and check my book” to find out a date.

“I went home and checked my book [and] I texted her that evening. I said, “I’m going out with you in a week from Monday.” [to dinner]. 7 p.m., I’ll pick you up.’ And she wrote, ‘I can’t wait,'” recalls Hoffman. “And the weekend before I confirmed it [and] said, “By the way, remember that weekend when there was no fun. The real fun starts on Monday!'”

Windey replied: “[I] I wouldn’t dream of having fun until Monday.”

Windey appeared for the first time Clayton EchardSeason 26 of The bachelor before being offered the co-starring role in the next season of The Bachelorette next to Rachel Recchia.
