Restaurant in Georgia named one of the “most legendary restaurants in the world”

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – A Georgia restaurant has been named one of “The Most Legendary Restaurants In The World.” TasteAtlas.

The Olde Pink House of Savannah landed at number 122 on the list, beating out top contenders from around the world. No stranger to awards, the restaurant was also voted #1 on Yelp’s list of the 25 most visited places in the US – the iconic pink building from the early 1770s.

Top spot was taken by Viennese restaurant Figlmüller, known for its popular Schnitzel Wiener Art. Other top restaurants included Katz’s Delicatessen in New York, which serves delicious pastrami on rye, and Warung Mak Beng in Sanur, Indonesia, known for its Ikan Goreng deep fried fish dish which is then served with a rich and flavorful sambal sauce.

The restaurants were selected for their gastronomic profile and honest, “no-nonsense” menu choices.
