After visiting Howard’s widow Cheryl, she collapses sobbing on a public bus. Rhea Seehorn spoke about this emotional scene and how she pulled through.

That Better call Saul The season 6 episode “Waterworks” revealed what Kim Wexler has been up to since leaving Jimmy and New Mexico. Kim moved to Florida and began working at Palm Coast Sprinklers. She has entered a new relationship with a sweet but achingly boring man, and partakes in the idle chatter enjoyed by the other women around her.
Everything changed when she got a call from Jimmy McGill. Kim told Jimmy to turn himself in, then made an important decision. She traveled to Albuquerque to complete her Bernalillo County affidavit and then visited Howard’s widow, Cheryl.

Afterwards, Kim collapses sobbing on a public bus on the way home. In an interview with AMC, Rhea Seehorn helped describe the planning of this scene Better call Saul Co-creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould.
“We decided that people will understand that she’s not just crying because of what happened in Episode 12,” Seehorn said. “She’s crying for everything that we’ve seen in six seasons and the tragedy of what she could have been, the tragedy of what Jimmy could have been and the lives affected and the injuries and the relationship that was ruined. It’s all.”
Seehorn also explained how she built the emotion needed to pull off this incredible acting moment. “The honest answer is that I took every one of these things that I wrote down that makes me personally grieve for this situation and these people and let it live somewhere in my body,” Seehorn said during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“When I was going through those things, thinking the thoughts, remembering where it lives in your body, I just fought really hard not to cry and that’s what you see.”
Why was Kim talking about Howard?
When Kim visits Cheryl to get in Better call Saul In Season 6, Cheryl asks why Kim is coming in. “I think she thought that was her penance,” Seehorn told AMC, explaining why the call to Jimmy pushed her into action. “She’s not in a position where she’s on the run from the Fed or the law in any way, but it does make her stop and think, ‘Well, is there anything I could do more to help with that, what do I have to atone for? done?'”
Also, Kim was careful not to collapse in front of Cheryl. “I think it’s very important that Kim doesn’t break down or cry in this scene because she doesn’t want Cheryl to feel sorry for her in any way, so she’s very dry in that scene,” the actor continued. “‘I did, and I’m here to tell you.’ And Kim wouldn’t give reasons or cry and ask for forgiveness if that was the wrong thing to do.”
