Liverpool’s best broke their teeth performing live in Hamburg, Germany, became sensations thanks to their non-stop tours of England and became international stars after a lucky encounter with Ed Sullivan. Previously, Ringo’s first band had scored better than The Beatles when they performed in Hamburg because of their pink suits.
