Rise Of The Pink Ladies Prequel Series Release Date [VIDEO]

Paramount+ is thinking pink this spring, setting an April 6 release date Fat prequel series Rise of the Pink LadiesTVLine found out.

Set in 1954, exactly four years before the events of Fat, this musical comedy chronicles the untold origin story of the girl gang. “Before the T-Birds were the coolest in school, four well fed outcasts dare to enjoy themselves on their own terms, creating a moral panic that will forever change Rydell High,” reads the official logline.

The series stars Marisa Davila as Jane, Cheyenne Isabel Wells as Olivia, Ari Notartomaso as Cynthia, Tricia Fukuhara as Nancy, Shanel Bailey as Hazel, Madison Thompson as Susan, Johnathan Nieves as Richie, Jason Schmidt as Buddy, and Maxwell Whittington-Cooper as to see Wally and Jackie Hoffman as Deputy Principal McGee.

Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies was written by showrunner Annabel Oakes, who executive produces alongside Adam Fishbach, Alethea Jones, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey for Temple Hill and Erik Feig and Samie Kim Falvey for PICTURESTART. Jamal Sims choreographed with music by Justin Tranter.
