Robert Babicz sheds light on his musical universe
THE summer has brought so much amazing electronic music to our ears and Robert Babicz’s new long player “Light Of The Universe” on Carl Cox and Christopher Coe’s label Awesome Soundwave is one of the gems of the season.
The album is a wonderful collection of tracks from the mastermind of electronic variety. “Light Of The Universe” accompanied me on a trip to Ibiza earlier this summer and will now always remain sun-drenched in my ears, with blissful breaks, bright house, bright techno, blinding acid and everything in between as Robert continues to push boundaries this album, but also with the countless releases that the prolific producer regularly delights us with.
We caught up with him this week and he put together a playlist of music that influenced his journey with Light Of The Universe. Listen below and read what he had to say about the music.
