Robert Williams continues to suffer from daily left knee pain and is ruled doubtful for Sunday’s seventh game between the Celtics and the Bucks.
Head coach Ime Udoka said whether Williams will play on Sunday is a matter of pain tolerance. Big man Williams, who suffered a bruised bone in a collision with Giannis Antetokounmpo in Game 3, has missed the past three games.
Udoka said the injury limits William’s movement when bending in a certain direction, but Udoka doesn’t think it’s a long-term problem.
Williams missed Game 1 and Game 2 against the Brooklyn Nets, played five straight games and has been out since. He’s averaged 6.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in just 20.2 minutes per game this year in the playoffs.
Sam Hauser (right shoulder instability episode) is out and all the other Celtics are available for the biggest game of the Celtics season yet.
The Celtics fell 3-2 down in the series but clinched a 108-95 win on Friday to stay alive and force Game 7.
