Ron DeSantis offered his home to Chaya Raichik, the creator of Libs of TikTok

The identity behind the Libs of TikTok Twitter account was publicly confirmed Tuesday as former real estate agent Chaya Raichik.

Raichik revealed during an appearance on Fox Nation that she is the creator of the conservative Libs of TikTok account, which frequently poke fun at liberals and has been condemned by LGBTQ advocates Tucker Carlson today. Previously, however, it had become known that she was behind Taylor Lorenz’s anonymous tweets The Washington Post in an April story.

According to Raichik, Lorenz’s disclosure of her identity led to her receiving an invitation from a particularly prominent Republican politician.

“When I got doxxed, someone off [Florida Governor] Ron DeSantis’ team called me. She said: “The governor wanted me to bring you a message. He said if you don’t feel safe – you or your family – if you need somewhere to go, hide or stay, you can come to the governor’s mansion.’ She said, ‘We have a guest house for you and you can come and stay as long as you need,'” Raichik told Carlson.

A spokesman for DeSantis confirmed this news week that someone approached Raichik on orders from the governor.

“I was almost in tears. The governor of Florida like he has nothing bigger to do,” Raichik added.

Carlson, who had asked Raichik if anyone had reached out to her about being doxxed, said, “Well, I’m so glad I asked that question!”

“Yes, it was incredible. I don’t even have the words for it. So grateful,” Raichik said.

Raichik said that while her name and location have been released in Lorenz’s story, her photos have never been released before.

“I’ve never attended in-person events, and I’m choosing to do this now because I feel like I’ve done so much over the past few months,” she told Carlson. β€œI helped educate people. I know I’ve helped create legislation to address some of these issues and I think I’ve done all I can and I’m ready for the next step.”

Lorenz has since addressed the doxxing claims Raichik made on Carlson’s show on Twitter.

“Chaya Raichik keeps talking about how I ‘doxxed’ her (I didn’t) while continuing to share a photo of myself outside her front door that shows not only the street she lives on, but that too exact house she lives in,” Lorenz tweeted.

During the Carlson interview, Raichik also said that one goal of hers is for people to use a nickname for Lorenz post Office The author said it was first used by a former friend.

“For someone who hates gay people, Chaya seems to date me quite a bit,” says Lorenz wrote on twitter. “That constant reference, coupled with the fact that she now calls me a romantic pet name, is just weird.”

Raichik’s interview on Fox Nation has already sparked controversy and has been condemned by several people for her comments on the LGBTQ community. Among those who questioned some of Raichik’s statements was Alejandra Caraballo, a civil rights attorney and clinical instructor at Harvard Law School’s Cyberlaw Clinic.

“Chaya Raichik went to Tucker Carlson and said, ‘The LGBTQ community has become this cult… It’s extremely toxic.’ She later says, “They’re just bad people and they’re out to take care of kids. They recruit.” This is one of the most bigoted interviews I’ve ever heard,” Caraballo wrote in one of several tweets.
