On Friday evening, Hayley James came clean about Sharon’s allegations but insisted he was innocent.

Any little doubts Sharon had about James were put to rest after Gwen confirmed Carol’s accusations.

Carol convinces Sharon and Anto to team up against James.

Anto convinced Hayley to test James’s sincerity. Hayley was worried when James took the chance to manage her finances.

Hayley returned James’ engagement ring and asked for space.

In tonight’s episode, James was devastated when Hayley revealed she was moving out.

James drowned his sorrows on the ward.

Sharon was worried when Carol told her that James was planning to drive drunk and tracked him to Rafferty’s parking lot.

A drunken James confessed to Sharon that he was behind the kidnapping.

Hayley hesitated when she saw the engagement ring and texted James to talk to him.

Sharon pushed a goading James down the stairs to the parking lot, leaving him with a head wound.

Hayley rushed to find James when Carol informed her of his drunken state.

Sharon went back to the parking lot to check on James and found him unconscious.

Sharon called an ambulance as Hayley frantically feared the worst.

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Dolores enlisted Erica’s help in getting Pete to see a doctor about his back.

Doug and Erica held Baby Nora in front of Pete to blackmail him into going to the doctor.
