RTE star Anna Geary’s fans have praised her for her adorable brain fog video following the birth of her son.
The Irish Fittest Family trainer and her husband Kevin Sexton welcomed their first baby into the family last month on August 1, 2023.
She shared some news with her fans about life as a new mother.
On her Instagram account today, she decided to share a video about the reality of sleep deprivation.
The video began with Anna brushing her teeth with soap and then putting her bra over her clothes.
Finally she washed her laundry and put her son’s clothes in the basket.
Anna captioned the video, “How do you think your mental focus is?”
“Let’s just say this video isn’t an exaggeration and I could think of 100 more examples.
“Like I almost put the milk in the press last night.
“I’m not sure if it’s baby brain or sleep deprivation, but there’s something wrong when I can’t find my keys and then they’re in my hand the whole time.”
“Anyone else? Please share your funny stories below so I don’t feel like it’s just me lol!”
“TAG someone who gets it! #mentalfocus #brainfog #babybrain #newmom #newmammy #focus #sleeptips.”
Fans and friends of Anna flocked to her comments section to praise her honesty and share their own examples.
Sarah commented: “I tried to respond to a text message on the baby monitor once.”
Helen said: “Try talking to someone on your phone and they say, wait a minute, I can’t find my phone…then the penny drops.”
One fan wrote: “I tried to enlarge a photo…in a magazine.”
While another follower also commented: “Walked out of daycare without a child, luckily the toddler reminded me to go back and get her brother.”
This comes to Anna recently looked unrecognizable in a flashback to her “proudest moment.”
The Ireland’s Fittest Family coach took to Instagram to share the moment she and her team won the All-Ireland in 2014.
Nine years ago, Anna was captain of the Cork camogie team when they won the big one.
The first picture she shared showed her next to President Michael D. Higgins, dressed in her red Cork jersey.
There were more pictures of Anna holding the trophy and celebrating after the win in the post, as well as some of her and her team celebrating in the locker room.
One picture showed the team together on a bus on the way to the victory celebration.
Anna captioned the post: “It’s been 9 years this weekend. What the…One of the proudest moments of my life!”
“It feels like a lifetime ago, and yet in another way I remember it like it was yesterday.”
“I didn’t realize at the time that it would be my last game in the red and white team.
“It deserves its place on the starting grid today.
“‘Oh my mama told me there would be days like this’ #Memories #Review #Corkcaptain #2014.”
