Ryan Seacrest jokes about leaving “Live” as guests return

He is back again! Ryan Seacrest returned to live as a guest – but he doesn’t entirely miss hosting the show.
“I got out just in time,” he said american idol The 48-year-old presenter joked during the broadcast on Thursday May 18 while promoting the upcoming live finals of the singing competition. “I have to say I watched, you guys are so great together. I love it. I am in love To mark [Consuelos] I do the teases, I love the promos I see, I love the games.”
Seacrest hosted Live with Kelly and Ryan opposite for six years Kelly Ripa. The Georgia native announced in February that he was ready to step down from his post live Chair when Ripa’s husband Consuelos took his place. Thursday’s performance was his first appearance on the show since his departure on April 14.
Ripa, 52, noted Thursday that she says Seacrest is just relieved that he doesn’t have to do all of the commercial footage and episodic games featured in the show and commercials. Consuelos, also 52, has taken it upon himself to tell Seacrest what happened in the studio.

Seacrest went on to reveal that since leaving the morning show, he’s been able to experience a “fascinating thing called time.” “So what I do is the alarm goes off in the morning, it’s like a gentle nudge,” he said from his new daily routinejokingly, it starts at 11am and involves finding his own breakfast the forest. “I walk through the forest looking for coffee beans. I take them back, I roast them. I milk my almonds and make a latte. It’s noon now.”
While Seacrest – who dated the model Aubrey Paige Consuelos has been enjoying not getting up so early to film the talk show for the past two years and has embraced his new life as a TV presenter.
“Tonight’s show really felt like home,” he said kingdom Alum told exclusively Us weekly in April after his first show. “I always feel at home with Kelly, but [working] Being together this morning just felt really right.
