San Bernardino County Special Victims K-9 Team in Uvalde, Texas to help families of victims of mass shootings at Robb Elementary

UVALDE, Tx. (KABC) — A K-9 Special Victims Response Team from the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has been dispatched to Uvalde, Texas, to assist victims of the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School.

According to a tweet from the DA’s office, the K-9 Lupe and Dozer crisis response planes are there to support the families of the 21 victims.

According to the FBI in San Antonio, the dogs are canines that help relieve the stress and anxiety of victims of mass violent events.

Other K-9s from Beaumont, Texas and New Mexico were also sent to Uvalde.
