Saturday Night Live: Miles Teller Hosts Season 48 Premiere – ‘SNL’

Fresh from his Emmy win for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series, NBC’s Saturday night live announced the first three presenters of season 48.

NBC announced this on Tuesday Top Gun: Maverick Star Miles Teller will moderate SNL‘s premiered on October 1st with third musical guest Kendrick Lamar.

The following week, on October 8, Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees by Inisherin) will serve as master of ceremonies for the first time, while Willow will perform.

Then on October 15, the other day She Hulk Guest star Megan Thee Stallion will take on a dual role as presenter and musical guest.

As previously reported, SNL Eight cast members enter season 48 after leaving Aristotle Athari, Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, Alex Moffat, Kyle Mooney, Chris Redd and Melissa Villaseñor.

In the meantime, SNL added four new players: Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker.

Returning for season 48 are repertoire players Michael Che, Mikey Day, Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Colin Jost, Ego Nwodim, Cecily Strong, Kenan Thompson and Bowen Yang; featured players Andrew Dismukes, Punkie Johnson, James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman; and presumably Please Don’t Destroy Trio Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy.
