Season 2 of Andor will increase political paranoia and galactic tensions

The two-year waiting period Andor Returns will be agonizing. That Villain One The prequel show defied low expectations to become the most acclaimed novelty war of stars Entry in years and delivers a complex and weighty story that takes the setting far more seriously than its competition.
Fortunately, work is already underway on Season 2, with filming beginning on Monday 21st November in the UK. Showrunner Tony Gilroy seems determined to match the quality of season one, teasing that the first scene that played in front of the cameras involved Kyle Soller’s Syril Karn.
But still Andor The first season ended on a high note as Cassian Andor dedicated his life to the rebellion. It sounds like things will get even darker in the next season. Speak with The villains Podcast he explained how the Rebel Origins will evolve:
“How’s it going? If your product is Paranoia, how do you work together? How do you scale secrecy? How do you pull that out of the garage and how do you play with other people? So over the next four years in the second [season], you know we’re going to have to deal – you know we’re going to end up in Yavin, and the rebel alliance, that alliance is really messy. There are heroes in there, losers in there and wannabes in there; it’s really messed up. But it’s like any political coalition.”

He also detailed how existing characters fit into this new framework:
“What’s going to happen to Saw Gerrara? What happens to the original gangsters? What about all the real hardcore maniacs who built it, are they welcome? How you do that? That’s going to be one of the things we’re going to really explore, and what Luthen says in Episode 10 is true; this is not a game. He opens a real vein there and I’ll never undercut what he says there, but what’s next? How you do that?”
We know from Villain One that Saw will be on the run with the broader Rebel Alliance for years to come because of his extremism and violence, so it seems like the next season will show both disparate groups coming together under the banner of the “Rebel Alliance” while others settle in the Rebel Alliance ruled out find cold.
Whatever the outcome, we now have rock solid confidence in Gilroy to deliver the goods. The only downsides are those Andor‘s return is so far away and imminent war of stars Disney Plus shows have a lot going for them now. Well, it will be nice to see Grogu again The Mandalorian Season two… I think.
