Shooting in Spring Hill leaves one dead, man and child taken to hospital

SPRING HILL, Fla. (WFLA) — A man died after an argument in Spring Hill on Wednesday night ended physically.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said officers responded to a shooting in the Bathurst Ave. area just before midnight. responded in Spring Hill.

Two men were involved in a fight that escalated. One man shot at the other, injuring two other people.

The passers-by were a young man and an adult man who succumbed to his injuries. The sheriff’s office said the boy and the first man who was shot were taken to the hospital.

Officers said the suspected gunman was arrested but did not identify him.

“This is an isolated case among known parties and there is no risk to public safety,” the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said wrote on Twitter. “All parties are considered.”

The shooting is under investigation.
