Siesta Key’s Chloe Trautman suffers miscarriage: It was ‘difficult’
Chloe Trautman and her husband, Chris Longrecently suffered a pregnancy loss.
“I thought my 28th birthday post would be very different this year. “Chris and I were planning on announcing our pregnancy today,” he said Siesta key star, 28, wrote about Instagram on Thursday, September 7th. “I found out I was pregnant [the] Summer and we were both so excited for this next chapter in our lives. But God had a different plan and unfortunately we recently lost our baby to a miscarriage.”
She continued, “None of us expected to go through this loss together, but with the grace of God, it has only brought us closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” Jesus saved Chris and I on the exact same day in April – we had “We both searched for the “meaning of life” for so long and finally found true peace with Christ together.”
Trautman, who married Long, 32, last year, added that “the loss of a baby is very difficult to understand.”

“I cannot believe the emotional and physical hardships I have been through this past month. I was in a lot of pain for what felt like an eternity,” she wrote. “But despite the pain, I have never felt the presence of God so intensely before. God made it so clear that He was right with us in all of this. I know that this is and has been a part of God’s story for us.”
Trautman further explained that her love for Long has grown and is “stronger than ever” after watching him tirelessly support her throughout both the pregnancy and the miscarriage.
“Chris, the man of God you have become, the husband you have become, the father you have become – I am more in awe of you every day and can’t wait to take this journey of Christ sent us,” she wrote. She speaks directly to her husband. “I am so grateful to the Lord for you and the beautiful life we have. I know one day we will meet our baby in heaven, but until then, let’s continue to love each other and honor God in everything we do.”

According to Trautman’s Instagram note, she was grateful to be able to spend her birthday in the wilderness with Long as she shared footage from a hike.
“Here’s to the 28th year. “Forever our first baby, mom and dad love you very much and we are so grateful that God gave us you, even if it was just for a short time,” the reality TV star previously added in the comments, citing two Bible passages. “I love you Christopher, thank you for making every moment of my birthday so special.”

Trautman and Long made their romance public in May 2021, several months before they got engaged in November. They married in February 2022 and have been vocal about their intention to one day expand their family.
