‘SNL’: Aubrey Plaza Makes ‘Saturday Night Live’ Host Debut

Fresh from her stressful stay at The White LotusAubrey Plaza booked a trip to Studio 8H.
Plaza will do it Saturday night live hosting debut When the show resumes with new episodes on January 21, TVLine has learned. She is accompanied by musical guest Sam Smith, who visits her SNL for the third time as they promote their upcoming album glory (Release on January 27th).
Although she is best known to TV fans as Parks and Recreation‘s cynical April Ludgate, Plaza recently garnered attention as resort guest Harper on HBO’s second season The White Lotus. She has since secured a Golden Globe nomination for her performance.
Actor Michael B. Jordan will host the January 28 episode, along with rapper Lil Baby as musical guest. They will both make theirs SNL debuts this evening; Jordan is starring and directing the upcoming movie Creed IIIreleased March 3rd, during Lil Baby’s latest album it’s just me fallen last October.
A host for SNLThe February 4 episode will be announced at a later date. Season 48 hosts so far have included Miles Teller, Brendan Gleeson, Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow, Amy Schumer, Dave Chappelle, Keke Palmer, Steve Martin and Martin Short, and Austin Butler.
