She shared an emotional message with her followers, talking about how special it was watching the show with her child for the first time.

Stacey wrote: “NO I’M NOT OK! It was my first time on Strictly and Minnie really loves it.”

“I feel so touched. Her little face is watching her daddy’s show.”

“For all the parents who messaged us when we did the show… NOW I GET IT, it’s a different show from your baby’s point of view.”

However, some followers criticized Stacey for letting her daughter sit so close to the television.

The Strictly winner knew the criticism was coming when she wrote the post and had a quick comeback ready.

She wrote: “Also. Don’t tell me anything. She crawled over really close (tele on the floor because we just moved).

“She won’t be there long until you tell me she shouldn’t be so close, etc.”

Fans rushed to the comments to give her their support, saying it must be difficult being a mother as a celebrity with people watching your every move.

One person expressed sympathy and said: “My little one is coming and standing in front of the TV!!!! Haters will hate babes – ignore them! We can’t all be perfect! You’re doing great.”

Another agreed: “You know what the first thing I thought was. That people would say that. You are a good person and a good mother. You don’t have to explain yourself to the Karens of the world.”

One mother chimed in: “My son is watching TV so close. Ignore the perfect parents out there.”
