Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim brings out creativity and costumes for die-hard fans

Star Wars Celebration takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center and the event is always full of surprises for fans of the franchise.
Stepping onto the convention floor is always a sight to behold.
For example, resident Juan Galvan made a Star Wars-inspired stroller for his daughter Indie.
“If I have to push the stroller, it should be a cool one,” Galvan said. “It plays music and stuff, so it’s Bluetooth, everything, so my wife loves it.”
You can even build droids or make your own costumes in the Star Wars celebration!
You get attention, and that’s the point.
“It’s the creativity. Anyone can come from anywhere, take stuff out of their closet or workshop and just create something that is special to them and show it to people who are just as creative,” said Jamie Berry.
You can even buy Star Wars clothing, and if you like people-watching, well, there’s a lot of that happening too.
Where else can you find the Han Solo Cup?
“I recently found out that the original Bantha was an elephant and it blew my mind because I’ve loved him for decades now,” said fan Lisa Mei Ling Fong. “I had to build Margie in honor of the original elephant.”
If you like Star Wars technology, there’s a limited-edition 65-inch LG OLED Star Wars TV. But what happens when you turn it on?
“It’s a first launch of the product for the fans, right? So we only made 501,” said Jose Cardona. “They are exclusive. It’s because of the 501st Legion, so it’s a salute to the fans, you know? So we’re trying to build that fandom.”
