The Disney era of war of stars was a bumpy road for the fans. The Treble has been hit shows like The Mandalorian and Andorwith the lows inclusive Boba Fett’s book and downright awful The Rise of Skywalker. There’s a lot of material of varying quality in between, although it’s debatable whether this is an improvement on what Lucasfilm put out before George sold Lucas to the House of Mouse.

Answers state that this issue is both a Lucas and Disney thing:

Thankfully, Disney and Lucasfilm seem to be realizing it doesn’t pay to cram more stories into the tightening Skywalker saga.
Taika Waititis war of stars The film is set to take place in a whole new corner of the universe, The High Republic Project gives creators a blank slate to work with from hundreds of years ago The Phantom Menaceand the upcoming Disney Plus show The Acolyte will be set at the end of this era.
The galaxy is an infinite canvas for storytelling, so let’s go beyond the Skywalkers and Tatooine and see more of it!
