Stars react to the death of the “Price is Right” host
Drew Carey, Andy Cohen and more celebrities come together to honor the legacy of the late Bob Barker.
“It’s a beautiful day to remember to help control the pet population [and] Have your pet spayed or neutered,” Cohen, 55, said via Instagram Story on Saturday, Aug. 26.
Cohen’s PSA recognized Barker’s own animal rights advocacy efforts. The TV icon even promoted the cause in his post The price is correct — which he moderated for 35 years until 2007 — catchphrase. “Here’s Bob Barker reminding you to help control pet populations: Have your pets spayed or neutered,” he would say.
Us weekly confirmed earlier Saturday that Barker had died at the age of 99. “It is with deep sadness that we announce that the greatest MC in the world who ever lived, Bob Barker, has left us,” said his publicist, Roger Nealsaid in a statement.
Barker leaves behind his half brother, KentValandraNephews Robert and Chip and niece Vicky.
