Strictly Come Dancing 2023 LIVE – Nikita Kanda EXCLUDED after losing to Zara McDermott in dance-off – latest updates

The first 10 in the series were lent by Shirley Ballas

Strictly’s Shirley Ballas shocked viewers as she awarded the top 10 of the series last night.

Head judge Shirley was visibly overwhelmed by Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer’s “Couple’s Choice” performance.

The couple chose Will Smith’s 1997 sci-fi action comedy Men In Black and dressed in matching tuxedos for Movie Week.

Ex-Strictly star undergoes surgery

Reverend Richard Coles underwent surgery on his spine.

The popular TV star and retired minister, 61, shared a picture of his legs in compression socks before the procedure.

His X, former Twitter followers were surprised to see him in the hospital but sent him their best wishes.

One wrote: “Good luck, I hope everything goes well and you feel much better soon.”

All about Eddie Kadi and his net worth

Eddie Kadi is a television host, comedian and actor who was born on May 18, 1983 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In 1992 he moved to south west London and attended Fulham Primary School.

He then attended Kingston University, where he graduated with a BSc Honors in Media Technology.

Kadi is believed to have an estimated net worth of £5 million as of 2023.

Earlier this year it was confirmed that he would be taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Eddie had a mediocre start to his time on Strictly, collecting 43 points in the first two shows, which placed him ninth on the leaderboard.

Pure ex-professional triggers “repair” claims

James Jordan, who was formerly a professional dancer on Strictly, has sparked a new “fix” allegation by claiming judges were told not to give top performers high scores.

James, 45, reflected on Layton Williams’ performance last week and said he should have gotten 10 points across the board.

He said Hello is exactly the truth: “This could be his best dance, and then they can do it again in the finale and he’ll get straight 10s.”

The former professional added: “Sometimes it’s not as good as the first time. I firmly believe that if it’s worth a 10, give it a 10.

“I think there’s something where they might be told, ‘You can’t give tens in the second week.’ Your guess is as good as mine.”

Bobbie’s rarely seen brother shows his staunch support

Bobby Brazier’s rarely seen brother Freddie appeared on Strictly Come Dancing last night to show his support.

The 20-year-old EastEnders actor and his professional partner Dianne Buswell impress the judges every week – last night they danced a samba to Young Hearts Run Free from the film adaptation of Romeo + Juliet.

What time is Strictly?

Strictly Come Dancing is back tonight and one couple is nearing the end of their ballroom journey.

The results show airs tonight at 7.15pm on BBC One.

You can also catch last night’s action on BBC iPlayer.
