Strictly’s Amanda Abbington didn’t tell Giovanni she was quitting – and barely spoke to him before the dramatic exit
It has been claimed that STRICTLY Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice found out about Amanda Abbington’s shocking exit from producers.
The Daily Star Giovanni, 33, was reportedly furious about Amanda’s sudden departure after receiving no prior notice and told his friends that Amanda had “hardly spoken to him”.

The Strictly star received the surprise news from a producer just hours before the official announcement yesterday.
An insider told the newspaper: “Amanda hasn’t told Giovanni that she has decided to leave the show. The first thing he heard was a call from a producer.
“That really annoyed him. He hasn’t heard much from her for ten days. She hasn’t responded to messages or told him what was happening.
“He complained about it to friends. He’s frustrated.”
“He fears the drama will damage his career and make him look bad.”
Amanda was paired with the Italian dancer early last month after the competition returned for its 21st series.
Upon learning of the exit, Giovanni appeared to “ignore” his dance partner’s latest statement after not liking or commenting on the post, leading to feud rumors between the two.
While many other celebrities and professionals sent their best wishes, Giovanni was particularly absent following her sudden withdrawal from the competition yesterday.
Amanda announced her exit on Instagram yesterday.
She told her fans: “It is with utmost regret that I have had to leave Strictly. This decision was not easy for me, but for personal reasons I cannot continue.”
She hadn’t mentioned her dance partner at all.
