A third supporter wrote: “I’m following your story and am in awe of your courage and positivity, Amy. I send love and healing vibrations. PS save my champagne for the day you get the all clear!”

Amy is a professional ballroom and Latin dancer who rose to prominence after appearing on Strictly Come Dancing.

She was known for her involvement in the show before she had to leave the show due to health reasons.

Amy has started chemotherapy and recently made the heartbreaking decision to shave her hair.

She also revealed that complications arose after chemotherapy almost took her life.

Speaking to The Mirror, she explained: “After my first two cycles I started having the life-threatening side effects that can come with chemotherapy, so for the first month I had it all.”

About a week ago she attended the Pride of Britain Awards and showed her fighting spirit as she went bald on the carpet in a beautiful pink silk dress.
